Types of Error Messages Encountered within the Vpass Mobile App

Login and Registration

Invalid phone number or password

This means that either the phone number or password that you’ve entered is incorrect. It could also indicate that the phone number has not been registered yet. You should check both the phone number and password and try again.

The Phone Number Has Not Been Registered Yet
This means that the phone number that you’ve attempted to use to login has not been registered with any Vpass account. You should proceed to the registration page.

Wrong format phone number

The phone number entered does not follow the proper phone number format and conventions of your locality. You should check the formatting of the phone number and try again.

This Phone Number Has Already Registered

This means that the phone number that you’ve attempted to use to register has already been linked to a Vpass account. You should proceed to the login page.

Invalid OTP Code

The OTP that you’ve entered is either incorrect or has already been used. You should check the OTP message and try again.

Invalid email input

This means that the format of the email address that you’ve entered is incorrect. You should check the email address and try again.

Upload Result

QR Code has been used

The QR code that you’ve just scanned has been used before. If this is unexpected, do contact Vpass support.

QR Code is invalid

The QR code that you’ve just scanned is not a valid Vpass QR code. If this is unexpected, do contact Vpass support.

Transmitting result was interrupted

This is caused by a slow internet connection. You should ensure that you have a strong internet connection and try again.

This test is invalid

This means that the test kit image either falls into the invalid category as described in the Rapid Test Kit instruction booklet or might have been taken under less-than-ideal conditions. You should ensure that the test kit image is taken under well lit conditions with minimal reflective surfaces within view. If the test kit fall into the actual invalid category, then you should retake the test with another test kit.

Failed to upload file to storage

This means that the image of the test kit could not be stored at this point in time. You should wait a few minutes and try again.

Failed to upload image and label to data store

This means that the image of the test kit could not be stored at this point in time. You should wait a few minutes and try again.

Failed to send request to AI model

This means that the image of the test kit sent to the model for inferencing. You should wait a few minutes and try again.

Unknown label

This means that the image of the test kit returned an unknown label. You should readjust the image capture conditions and try again.

QR Code is invalid/used

The QR code of the test kit you’ve just captured does not match the one initially scanned. If this is unexpected, do contact Vpass support.

Profile

Fail to update profile

This means there was an issue updating your profile details. You should wait a few minutes and try again.

Fail to update profile picture

This means there was an issue updating your profile picture. You should wait a few minutes and try again.

Report submit failed, please try again

This means there was an issue submitting your report. You should wait a few minutes and try again.

This Email Address Has Already Registered

This means that the email address that you’ve attempted to use has already been linked to a Vpass account. You should use another email address instead.

Dependent name already exists
This means that the name of the dependent you’ve attempted to add is similar to another dependent you already have.

Invalid email input

This means that the format of the email address that you’ve entered is incorrect. You should check the email address and try again.
